There is an old English adage that states; “It's the little things in life that matter the most.”
And no one than the natives of Masindi District – located in the Western Region of Uganda - that best describe this wise saying as they are always grateful for what they have and forthwith what they receive.
Exchange Is No Robbery: As CEO Ritah Aliguma handed over balls from UEFA Foundation For Children, the head prefect of one of the schools returned the favour by gifting the
Foundation with banana fibre soccer balls.
Step by step, they have certainly become the darlings of the Aliguma Foundation. The foundation’s officials have always found time to make the 210-kilometer voyage out of the Ugandan capital to the Bunyoro Sub-Region and share the joy whenever they receive dispatches from their partners.
It was the case again after the UN Agency For Refugees - UNHCR and UEFA Foundation For Children made deliveries to the Aliguma Foundation stores in Kamwokya at the end of last month.
And the pupils, students, headteachers and parents of several localities in Kinuuma, Bigando, Mirya, Nyampunu, Rukondwa, Kyamuhoro, Miduma and Nyakatugo showed their delight after the unexpected visits from the Aliguma Foundation officials who spent a week traversing villages far and wide.
