THE ALIGUMA Foundation is at the forefront in championing Social Inclusion of girls in Slum settlements, bearing in mind the needs of the boy child.
Through the 'Ndi Mwana' program THE ALIGUMA Foundation aims at developing the capacity of the Girl-Child to not only survive but thrive even in complex situations
Partnering with Civil Society, Media and other organizations, the program will provide technical expertise to the local Acholi Slum Community leadership in addition to advocating for victims protection and support for effective SGBV/vetting initiatives.
In line with the aforementioned program, we have organized an awareness campaign scheduled to take place on the 29th of May 2021 at Acholi Quarters Slums Palm Church and Playground in Banda B1, Nakawa Division-Kampala Uganda. All the activities will help create awareness for the protection of the girl child and strengthen the rule of law and peace building in Acholi Quarters and other Slum settlements across Uganda; providing increased life resilience opportunities for Children.
We will be grateful with both your presence and the promotion of this program and participation in the events of the day.
